An association dedicated to 'information transfer' related to 'Fire Retardant Wood Products'
Who we are
'FireRetard.com' is a European association dedicated to research and information transfer related to 'Fire Retardant Wood Products'. This includes fire retardant (FR) wood composite panels such as particle board, MDF, OSB, Plywood and fire retardant solid wood solutions.
The foundation is joining companies and research organizations from eleven European countries, and is coordinating research and information transfer on wood FR chemicals, fire performance, durability, environmental aspects, European regulations and markets for public use. Our foundation plays a key-role in developing the market of FR wood products.
Invitation to join the association
The network of companies and research organisations is helping to solve current gaps in knowledge and thus improving the fire performance of wood products as well as their usability in terms of durability and environmental performance. One of our key objectives is to enlarge this team of member companies and research organizations.
